Location

Located near the Sand Dunes of Senga-Bay South, Salima, along the shores of Lake Malawi (only 125Km from Lilongwe, the capital city of Malawi). No nearby villages and fishermen, therefore very peaceful, quite and tranquil area.

The property consists of 4 buildings, a designated carpark and water tank stand as follows

Building no. 1 (360sqm) – Comprising of 12 executive en suite rooms. All rooms enjoy a lakeview, are furnished and include satellite TV and ceiling fans. 6 bedrooms have do double beds whilst the other 6 rooms are twin bedded.

Building no.2 (85sqm) – Comprising of restaurant, kitchen, store-room and toilets (ladies and gents). The kitchen is furnished and capable of handling buffet-style meals of up to 30-40 people. Furnishings include 3 industrial gas cookers, 45kg gas tank and fridge/freezer.

Building no.3 (50sqm) – Comprising of director’s office fitted with AC and a tuck-shop. All furnished.

Building no.4 (100sqm) – A fully furnished lodge manager’s house, comprising of 2 bedrooms and fitted with 3 A/Cs.

Water Tank Stand + Store-room – This facility has a 5,000L water tank, borehole, (Pentax) electric water pump and store-room.

Land (0.68ha or 6,800sqm) – The property has ample parking in the designated carpark and enough land for potential further developments of up to a total of 30 to 40 bedrooms. Tranquil and peaceful beach area covered in very fine powdery sand. The lodge grounds provide aerial views of Lake Malawi and bring you as close as possible to having your own private beach areas.

Trees – More than 25 hybrid Mango trees (already giving fruits and provide plenty of shade), 35 palm trees and various other trees and plants.

Property Age – The buildings were constructed in 2008 whilst the business was registered in 2006 soon after land acquisition. Malawi Tourism License was obtained since inception including Certificate of Hygiene from Malawi Bureau of Standards.

Power Supply – The property is provided with 3 phase electricity supply for the lodge with a separate wiring line for genset covering all rooms, restaurant and the reception. Additionally, the manager’s house has a single phase power supply.

This property is quiet an ideal location for an exclusive hotel/lodge, conferences, workshops, private parties, tourists, NGO offices, lakeshore projects, bird-watching with the most amazing views of Lake Malawi, including Malere Islands (part of Malawi National Parks).
